Welcome to PhysioWorks!
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists are primary health care professionals with a significant role in health promotion and treatment of injury and disease.
After a thorough assessment, they provide treatment and education for a wide range of health problems to ensure you make the most of your lifestyle. We live longer and busier lives than ever before and our bodies sometimes need a little help to stay in good working order. Your Physiotherapist can recommend the best way to treat problems which may be stopping you from enjoying an active life. Physiotherapists can also advise you on ways to PREVENT potential health problems from occurring before they arise.
At PhysioWorks, our therapists are certified in acupuncture, Graston Techniques, as well as various manual treatment techniques to help you get back to what you want to do quickly and efficiently.
Traditional Massage Therapy
Massage therapists assess and treat the soft tissue of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments. Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of these soft tissues of the body in order to relieve pain and symptoms of stress or to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function.
Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy.
